Job Overview

Pertemps Gloucester seeks a Class 2 Driver for a manufacturer in Quedgeley, offering £15.00 to £17.19 per hour (PAYE) on a full-time, permanent basis. Shifts commence between 04:15 and 06:00, Monday to Friday. You will handle roughly two to ten deliveries daily across the region, operating a Class 2 vehicle. Duties include safe transport and unloading goods using tail lifts, pallet trucks, and sack trucks. Reliable professionals with a valid licence and CPC qualification will find consistent workload here. Prior multi-drop experience is advantageous. Responsibilities

The Role Working for a well-established manufacturer in Quedgeley, you'll complete between 2 and 10 deliveries per day across the region using a Class 2 vehicle. You're responsible for the safe delivery of goods, using tail lifts, pallet trucks and sack trucks to unload products at customer locations. This role involves manual handling of units and boxed goods and may occasionally include 7.5T driving, paid at the same rate. Early start times are available between 04:15 and 06:00, with ongoing Monday to Friday work.

  • Completing between 2 and 10 deliveries per day

Requirements
  • A valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 9 penalty points for minor driving offences
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • A willingness to undertake manual handling duties
  • Good levels of physical fitness
