Class 1 Royal Mail Drivers (C+E)

Overview

As a Class 1 Royal Mail Driver (C+E) based in Normanton, you will conduct trunking duties, collecting and delivering mail across the UK to depots and mail centres. This full-time role offers flexible afters and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver mail across the UK as part of trunking duties.
• Perform deliveries and pickups to depots and mail centres.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts, including afters and night shifts.
• Clear a Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) security check following registration.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence held for at least one year.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no DD, DR, IN endorsements).
• Minimum 180 days of driving experience within the last twelve months.
• Ability to work flexible and weekend shifts.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly pay ranges from £21.44 to £24.57 with rates varying by shift:

• Basic Rate: £21.44
• Dawn Rate (): £22.48
• Early Rate 1 (): £21.99
• Early Rate 2 (): £21.71
• Evening Rate (): £22.22
• Late Rate (): £23.09
• Night Rate (): £24.57
