Job Description

Class 1 trunking drivers required - no handball involved! We're currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing trunking work, covering both regional and nationwide routes.

This is a straightforward depot-to-depot driving role, with all trailers loaded and unloaded using forklifts.

The Role

You'll be completing trunking runs between depots, covering regional and nationwide routes as required.

The trailers are curtain-sided, with loading and unloading carried out by forklift, meaning there is no manual handballing involved.

Duration: This is an ongoing temporary position offering regular work for suitable drivers.

Contract Type: Temporary

• Hourly Rate: Pay & Benefits£18.50 per hour
• Ongoing temporary work
• Regional and nationwide trunking

• No handballing
• Up to 28 days' holiday accrued
• Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including Skilled Worker visas with a 20-hour restriction.

• Working Hours: Monday-to-Friday working
• Early starts and regular daytime finishes
• No weekend work

Experience & Qualifications Requirements

To be considered for this position, you'll need:

• Current HGV Class 1 (C+E) entitlement
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver CPC
• Licence held for a minimum of 12 months
• No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes
• Minor offences only
• No DR, DD, IN, CU or MS convictions
