Class 1 Driver - Tramping

Overview

Class1 Driver - Tramping required in Cardiff for a temporary role. Pay up to £15.15 per hour with an additional night out allowance. Day shifts with varying start times, Monday Friday schedule with weekends and bank holidays off. The role involves long distance haulage and trunking for a major logistics provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive modern vehicles across the UK, ensuring compliance with FORS Gold level safety standards.
• Deliver loads to client sites, typically 1-3 drops per shift, dropping and swapping trailers as required.
• Securely load and unload goods before each journey.
• Operate a new brand new fleet as part of the Euroclad contract, including manual handling duties when necessary.
• Maintain accurate electronic driver log using Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.

Requirements

• Valid LGV C+E licence with no DD, DR, or IN endorsements.
• Up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Commitment to safe, efficient deliveries and willingness to perform manual work as part of the Euroclad contract.
• Successful on site assessment.
