Job Description

The Class 1 ADR Tanker Driver (C+E) role in Southampton involves nightly depot to depot trunking and refuelling operations at refinery sites.

This permanent position with Manpower UK offers a starting rate of £18.84 per hour, rising to £28.26 for overtime and weekend shifts, plus a per shift night bonus and performance incentives.

Starting between 4:00pm and 8:00pm, the 4 on/2 off pattern suits experienced HGV professionals holding ADR certification.

Responsibilities centre on the safe, compliant movement of hazardous goods, upholding rigorous road safety standards and delivering excellent customer service.

This represents a route to permanent employment through a temp to perm structure, with substantial earning potential via enhanced rates.

Manpower Driving andamp; Logistics are recruiting on behalf of a leading national client for experienced Class 1 ADR Drivers based at Fawley, Southampton.

Responsibilities
  • Depot to depot trunking deliveries

Start times: Between 4:00pm and 8:00pm

Available Shift Patterns: 4 on / 2 off - Nights (Temp - Perm); 4 on / 3 off - Nights (Temp - Perm)

Pay and Benefits

What We re Looking For
  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Current ADR Class 2 in Tanks qualification
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • No DD or DR convictions
  • Previous trunking or fuel delivery experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
