We are looking for a Claims Technician to join us at INSHUR! We're based in sunny Brighton ️ (sea , chips , and seagulls ️ included), and our company embraces a hybrid working model, allowing you to thrive in both collaborative office settings and the comfort of your own home . You'll have the opportunity to work remotely while also connecting with your colleagues at our Brighton office at least once a week, fostering a dynamic and supportive environment.
You'll be working on re inventing insurance in exciting markets across multiple territories including the UK , US , and the Netherlands , with plans to expand into new European countries.
Supported by (and reporting to) the team leader, you'll be joining a friendly team of claims professionals who thrive on delivering exceptional service to INSHUR customers.

What you'll be doingThis isn't your typical claims role. You'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of third party motor claims, including personal injury, and play a key role in delivering fast, fair, and data driven outcomes.
Working in a modern, tech enabled environment, you'll be trusted to make decisions, challenge the status quo, and help shape how claims are handled.
In this role, you will:
- Manage claims end to end giving you full visibility and control, from first notification through to settlement, across both damage and personal injury elements
- Make confident liability decisions and drive claims to resolution with a strong commercial mindset
- Negotiate effectively with third parties, insurers, and representatives to deliver the right outcome at the right cost
- Build strong relationships across the market while also influencing outcomes through a digital first approach
- Work closely with product, data, and operations teams to identify trends and improve claims performance
- Use technology and insight to streamline processes, reduce friction, and enhance the overall customer experience

First Interview: 60-minute video call to dive into your experience and get to know your motivations.
Final Stage: An in person interview at our Brighton office, meet the team and possibly a few roaming dogs.
