If so, we have a fantastic hybrid role based in our London Aon Centre.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeIn this exciting role, you will be primarily responsible for the management, strategy and process for the notification, agreement, collection and successful settlement of a portfolio of W&I claims. Your key responsibilities will include:
- First notification of loss for W&I claims
- Negotiation and liaison with markets, clients, placement teams, specialists, network offices, underwriters and appointed authorities (loss adjusters, lawyers etc).
- Conduct data analysis to establish the claims history for a particular client or business portfolio, and to identify trends and patterns in claims for a client or business segment
- Negotiate the payment and settlement of claims with clients and underwriters
- Coordinate discussions and, where appropriate, meetings to ensure superior level of communication between the client, underwriter and their representatives concerning the proposed settlement.
- Engage with the Head of Financial Lines Advocacy in the strategy to conclude contentious claims
- Experience dealing with claims from first notification of loss to resolution.
- Knowledge of W&I claims and confidence to coordinate and initiate discussions with our networks, clients, underwriters and experts
- Experience with the CLASS and ECF processing system (preferable)
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
