Job Description

My client is an energetic engineering consultancy who provide services to the construction industry, developers and local authorities.

They undertake a wide variety of work including drainage design, highway and external works design, structural design, structural surveys, flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling. They are looking to recruit a Civil Technician to join their team, based in the Newcastle office.

The Role:
  1. Experience within the house building sector
  2. Understanding of approval processes including S104, S38 and S278
  3. Ability to work with other design team members and clients in the design process
  4. Appropriate qualification in civil engineering
  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
Your Experience:
  1. Educated to a ONC/HNC or Degree level in Civil Engineering
  2. Previous experience in the civils sector
  3. Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills required
  4. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, with experience at AutoCAD Civil 3D preferably
