Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer - Location: Leicester (within 1-hour commute) - Salary: Up to £50,000. Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer to provide design expertise and technical support across a range of commercial and residential development projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on varied schemes, from small highway improvements to large multi-million-pound developments in both the public and private sectors.

You will assist in delivering civil infrastructure designs, including highways, earthworks, and drainage. The role involves taking projects from initial appraisal through planning and detailed design, ensuring all work meets current standards and best practice.

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Around 4+ years' post-graduate experience within a consultancy environment
• Experience in the design of commercial and residential developments
• Knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, and other relevant design standards
• Understanding of S278, S38, and S104 agreements and adoption processes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Site 3D, and Flow or MicroDrainage
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

• Experience developing earthworks strategies
• Experience liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and local authorities
