Job Description

We are hiring for a renowned UK-based engineering consultancy based in Berkshire, we are seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in the UK water industry to join our exceptional team. The role

  • Support and manage projects from initiation to completion.
  • Provide technical expertise to project teams.
  • Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Review project deliverables to maintain the highest standards.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best
  • practices.
  • Contribute to innovative engineering solutions and sustainable practices.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand objectives and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and
  • environmental specialists.
  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of engineering designs.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven record of successful project contributions.
  • Working towards or holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised institution (e.g., ICE) is desirable.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and advanced structural analysis tools.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • A strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and engineering excellence.
