Summer Civil Enforcement Officer

Location: Skegness
Hours: 45 hours per week
Contract Length: Fixed Term Contract (until 31st October 2026)
Salary: £12.71 per hour PLUS £1,000 retention bonus.
We currently have multiple positions available with flexible working patterns, including 3, 4, and 5 days per week!

Responsibilities

• Ensure all drivers follow parking policies on public streets and in car parks.
• Ensure emergency vehicle access is not blocked, keeping the road safe for all members of the public.
• Issue Penalty Charge Notices, report defective signs and road markings, identify and report abandoned vehicles, and advise motorists where required.

What you will bring

• Excellent customer service and communication skills with an appropriate level of English.
• A desire to work outdoors, walking long distances in all weathers during patrol.
• A full UK clean drivers' licence, enabling deployment to other enforceable locations in company vehicles.

Benefits

• £12.71 hourly rate.
• 45 hours per week (choose any 5 of 7 days).
• One late shift per week (11:30 - 21:30); remaining four shifts are daytime, notified in advance.

Retention Bonus Terms & Conditions

• £1,000 retention bonus paid at the end of employment, subject to the following criteria:
• Do not leave the role prior to the end of the fixed term contract.
• Maintain minimal absence during this period.
• Pro rata based on start date and contractual hours.
• If a permanent contract is offered upon completion of the fixed term, the retention bonus will be waived in favour of the permanent role.
