NHS Grampian are seeking a Specialty Doctor in Pain Management to join our team in Aberdeen.

The successful candidate will join an established team and will be expected to provide high quality Pain Medicine to be delivered to patients including clinical leadership and supervision of junior medical staff, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are provided to all patients attending the hospital.

The post-holder will have their own lists of patients to be seen as new patients and will also be expected to follow-up and treat patients as appropriate. The post-holder will also be expected to take over the care of some existing patients in the pain service.

The existing team offer a range of treatment options for patients and there will be opportunities for the post-holder to participate in areas of their own particular interest. The team also have links with the University of Aberdeen and are active in multiple areas of research.
