Children's Social Worker- Support and Protection Team

Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join their Support and Protection Team

Responsibilities of this role:

• Manage CIN, CP, and PLO cases to ensure child safety and positive outcomes
• Complete robust assessments, direct work, and risk analysis with children and families
• Lead on safeguarding interventions, safety planning, and multi-agency coordination
• Prepare clear, timely reports and attend key meetings, including conferences and court (where required)
• Develop and review outcome-focused care plans with families and partners
• Maintain accurate case notes, ensuring statutory timescales are met

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
