Job Description
Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join their MASH Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Screen and assess safeguarding contacts and referrals, identifying levels of need, risk, and appropriate interventions for children and families.
- Gather, analyse, and evaluate information from partner agencies to inform safeguarding decisions and threshold determinations.
- Undertake robust risk assessments and make timely recommendations regarding statutory intervention, early help, or universal services.
- Work collaboratively with police, health, education, and other partner agencies to ensure effective information sharing and multi-agency decision-making.
- Provide safeguarding advice, guidance, and consultation to professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Ensure children at risk of harm are identified promptly and appropriate protective action is taken in accordance with legislation and local procedures.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records, assessments, and reports in line with statutory requirements and service standards.
- Contribute to a fast-paced duty service, prioritising workload effectively while ensuring children and families receive the right support at the right time.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
