We are currently seeking an Experienced Social Worker to join a Specialist Adolescent Service (SASH).
Do not apply unless you hold a Social Work qualification and have a minimum of 3 years' direct employment experience within a Local Authority.
About the Role
This specialist service works with vulnerable adolescents and their families to reduce risk, prevent family breakdown, and improve outcomes for young people. The team supports young people affected by exploitation, homelessness, missing episodes, criminal justice involvement, radicalisation concerns, and those at risk of becoming looked after.
To Manage a complex caseload, undertake assessments and interventions, complete Section 17 and Section 47 work, prepare reports for court and partner agencies, and work within a multi-agency safeguarding framework to support adolescents with complex needs.
About You
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years permanent experience within Children's Services.
Experience working with adolescents, Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE), Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE), and strong knowledge of Section 17 and Section 47 processes is essential. Strong assessment, safeguarding, report writing, and risk management skills are required.
