Children's Social Worker - Front Door Team

Our Client, Trafford Council, is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join their Front Door Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Screen and triage safeguarding referrals
• Gather and analyse multi-agency information
• Assess risk and apply safeguarding thresholds
• Decide next steps: Early Help, CIN, CP, or no further action
• Work closely with police, health, and education partners
• Record decisions clearly and defensibly
• Escalate urgent child protection concerns

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
• Must have minimum of 3 years Post Qualifying experience working as a social worker
