Location: Heaton, Newcastle (NE7) Salary: £50k - £60k + Bonus Status: New Service Opening Niche: EBD or LD
The OpportunityAre you a seasoned Manager or an ambitious Deputy ready to put your stamp on a brand-new service? We are opening a premium 3-bed residential home in Heaton and we need a visionary leader to help us build it from the floorboards up.
Whether your expertise lies in EBD, Learning Disabilities, or both, we want your insight. This isn't just a "plug-and-play" role; you are the architect of the environment, the team, and the care standards.
The Game PlanWe're doing things differently. We want you on board now, but we know you have a life (and likely a notice period):
Phase 1 (Immediate): Join us on a £2,000 retainer + hourly pay for ad-hoc registration work. Do this alongside your current role!
Phase 2 (Month 6): Start your full-time contract at £50k-£60k and begin recruiting your "dream team."
Phase 3 (Month 8): Go live! Lead your home through the Ofsted registration and welcome your first residents.
Need a move sooner? If you're ready to jump ship today, we have immediate full-time roles available at our Southern sites to bridge the gap until the Heaton home is ready for you.
What You Bring to the TableExperience: Current Registered Manager or a Deputy with 4+ years in children's residential care.
Credentials: Level 5 Diploma (achieved or currently working towards).
The "North East" Spirit: Local knowledge of the NE7 area and a passion for improving outcomes for young people.
Earning Potential: Top-tier salary plus a performance-based bonus scheme.
Balance: 28 days holiday and a solid pension contribution.
Autonomy: Total control over staff recruitment and home culture.
