Children, Young People & Families - Administration Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for an admin assistant to join our organisation to support the effective delivery of our children, young people 's and families services. You will be the first point of contact for young people, families and professionals, providing a warm, trauma-informed welcome and managing enquiries, appointments, referrals, service inboxes, and cover for the organisations reception at our busy and vibrant Oldham and Ashton Offices. This will include answering incoming calls, handling enquiries, responding to risk related calls with management support and ensuring at all times you offer a warm welcome to young people and families entering the hub. You will ensure the space is inviting, safe and calming, and will work in a trauma informed approach, treating everyone with respect, understanding and confidentiality.
Duties specific to this role- Act as the initial first point of contact for clients and visitors, offering a warm and trauma-informed welcome at reception.
- Handle incoming telephone calls and enquiries, including those involving sensitive risk or safeguarding concerns, escalating appropriately with support from senior staff.
- Manage client appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling across multiple youth projects.
- Oversee inboxes for CYPF-related services, ensuring timely responses and accurate signposting.
- Work as an integral part of the CYPF team to enable the delivery of services by providing administrative support.
- Liaise with staff and volunteers to ensure the people using our services receive the support needed.
