THE ROLE:
A highly respected law firm is looking to welcome a specialist Child Care Solicitor to join their team in supporting clients through a broad range of care proceedings. You will manage your own caseload of public law children matters, representing parents, grandparents and other family members throughout care proceedings. Furthermore, you will be offering calm, expert advice to clients during distressing and uncertain times, representing family members throughout all stages of court proceedings, and supporting those applying for special guardianship orders within public law proceedings.
THE CANDIDATE:
This firm is seeking applications from candidates with 2+ PQE in public law family matters, who demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sensitive area of work and exhibit a genuine commitment to making a difference in people's lives. An understanding of legal aid processes, alongside membership at the Law Society Children's Panel are welcomed. Candidates must be able to undertake their own advocacy, manage demanding caseloads, and develop their own network of internal and external contacts.

THE PACKAGE:
Working as an important and valued member of the firm, the successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, in addition to a wealth of benefits including five weeks holiday per year, healthy bonus schemes and various social events.
