Posted 11 hours 7 minutes ago by Oh BiBi
Oh BiBi is an independent mobile game studio based in Paris, founded in 2012 by former Gameloft Creative Directors. Our mission is clear: we create the hit games of tomorrow for massive, diverse audiences by building inclusive, hyper-engaging titles with ambitious, humble, player-centric teams.
With a team of just under 80 talented individuals, we combine creative ambition with agile execution. We operate in hybrid mode, offering flexibility while staying deeply connected as a team. Oh BiBi is growing, and we're actively shaping the future of mobile gaming through bold ideas and tight execution.
As we enter a new phase of acceleration, Oh BiBi is looking for a CTO who thrives in fast-paced, product-driven environments, and who wants to build scalable systems, automate everything, and embrace AI to redefine the way we create and grow.
Gaming experience is a plus but with strong technical leads operating our games, we're open to profiles coming from outside the industry. We're looking for someone with strong technical and leadership fundamentals, a product mindset, and the ambition to scale a tech org in a highly dynamic and creative environment.
Your Mission
As our CTO, your role is to build the tech backbone that will power our next stage of growth. You won't be expected to lead game design decisions, but you'll be responsible for building the systems and platforms that power our growth - from scalable game delivery pipelines to data infrastructure, automation frameworks and AI-native tools.
1. Tech Vision & Strategy
- Own and evolve the company's long-term technology strategy in both the development (engine development, game making, etc.) and publishing (marketing, customer support, etc.)
- Champion automation, data pipelines, AI-native tools, and low-friction development environments
- Identify and leverage emerging technologies to accelerate production, personalization, and live operations
2. Team Leadership
- Lead and scale a multidisciplinary tech team
- Build a culture of ownership, excellence, and collaboration
- Coach and structure the team for high velocity and low overhead
3. Engineering Operations & Scale
- Drive infrastructure reliability, continuous delivery, and platform robustness
- Set up the right engineering rituals, metrics, and processes to support scale
- Measure and improve developer productivity continuously
- Ensure data pipelines are robust, reliable, and usable across teams
4. AI & Automation Enablement
- Identify opportunities to embed AI across the company
- Promote internal tools and systems that automate manual work and amplify creative output
- Evaluate and integrate best-in-class AI APIs, LLMs, and custom models where relevant
- Leverage in-game and operational data to power AI-driven decision-making
- Explore predictive models for content performance, user behavior, and monetization
- Ensure data architecture supports real-time feedback loops and personalization
5. Product & Business Alignment
- Work hand-in-hand with game teams and business leaders to align tech with product strategy
- Translate company goals into actionable technical roadmaps
- Represent technology in strategic discussions, investor meetings, and partnerships
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent in a startup or scale-up context
- Ability to operate both at strategic and hands-on levels
- Hands-on exposure to AI/ML, prompt engineering, or real-time data systems is a strong plus
- Experience with data-intensive systems, modern data stacks (e.g. streaming, warehousing, analytics), and working cross-functionally with product/data teams
- Experience scaling engineering teams, coaching leaders, and structuring orgs for velocity
- Product sensitivity and good understanding of business/marketing growth levers
- Excellent communication skills - capable of aligning teams and engaging non-technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English
- Gaming experience is a plus, but not required.
