Job Description

Our client empowers construction professionals to turn tendering inefficiencies into a competitive advantage. They are building an AI-powered platform that helps contractors make smarter bid/no-bid decisions, produce high-quality tender responses, and dramatically reduce the cost of bidding.

We're looking for an outstanding Chief Product Officer (Fractional) to lead end-to-end product strategy and execution. This is a rare chance to shape a high-impact platform at the intersection of construction, SaaS, and AI - solving real, critical industry challenges.

You will have experience in construction tendering. You've felt the pain points first hand - the compliance headaches, the bid costs eating into margins, the wins that slipped away. That's exactly what will keep the product grounded in reality and drive the roadmap forward.

Requirements What you'll need

8+ years in construction delivery, bidding, estimation, or project management on large-scale projects

Deep understanding of what makes a winning tender-quality, pricing, and strategy

Familiarity with public and private sector procurement processes across Ireland, UK, and EU

A proven track record and respected reputation in the construction industry

Appetite to shape an early-stage product and transition toward co-founder partnership

What you'll do

Own product vision, strategy, and execution end-to-end

Lead continuous user discovery and market validation with real construction professionals

Prioritize features ruthlessly to reach product-market fit with minimal overhead

Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver exceptional user experiences

Build and lead the product team as we scale

Collaborate with the CEO on go-to-market strategy, pricing, and fundraising

  • Location: Flexible (Remote-first)
  • Fractional (1-2 days/week) transitioning to Full-time

Due to the level of interest in this role we regret that we may not be able to respond to all applicants.
