Role Description

As the Chief Product Officer for AI-Powered Reindustrialization, you will lead the technical vision and execution for DecaPlants' AI-first platform and products. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Paris, where you will collaborate closely with the Commercial Founders and the team to translate industrial plant needs into scalable software architectures and data-driven solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining technical roadmaps, overseeing end-to-end software development, and guiding product development from concept to deployment in live plant environments. You will build and mentor a high-performing engineering and data team, establish robust development standards, and ensure systems are secure, reliable, and designed for industrial-grade performance. The role also involves direct engagement with industrial partners, prioritizing features, managing technical risks, and aligning IT strategy and architecture with DecaPlants' business and market goals.

What you will work on
  • Build AI models for industrial process optimization using sensor data.
  • Develop scalable ML pipelines, digital twins, and agentic AI systems. Deploy solutions in real industrial environments.
  • Shape our product architecture and build the engineering team.
We're looking for someone who has
  • Strong expertise in Machine Learning, especially time-series data, physics-informed AI, reinforcement learning, or agentic systems.
  • Experience building and deploying ML products with real-world sensor data.
  • Passion for climate technology, manufacturing, and solving complex engineering challenges.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and excitement about building a company from day one.
  • Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and readiness to take co-founder responsibilities, including ownership of technical strategy and execution.
Practicalities & benefits:
