Job Description

A high-growth FinTech company is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to take the lead in driving international expansion, deepening regulatory and banking partnerships, and launching new financial products. This is a pivotal role at the heart of a dynamic, multi-market company operating in payments, e-money, and digital wallets. If you're a strategic operator with a strong regulatory instinct and a growth mindset, this role offers the platform to make an industry-wide impact.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the company's strategic roadmap, aligned with growth and regulatory ambitions
  • Lead cross-functional teams across product, compliance, finance, and sales
  • Cultivate partnerships with banks, PSPs, regulators, and other strategic stakeholders
  • Drive market expansion efforts across Europe, MENA, and other target regions
  • Launch and scale new FinTech and payment products in regulated environments
  • Act as the face of the company in board and investor relations
  • Oversee operational excellence, ensuring scalability and compliance across jurisdictions
  • Lead fundraising efforts and capital management in coordination with shareholders
  • Champion a strong risk and compliance culture, especially across AML/CTF matters
  • Support licensing processes and ensure adherence to EMI/PSP regulatory frameworks
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in a CEO, COO, or comparable executive role within FinTech, banking, or payments
  • Proven experience scaling regulated financial services or PSP/EMI operations internationally
  • Deep domain expertise in payments, e-money, neobanks, and digital wallets
  • Track record of engagement with regulators and successful licensing applications
  • Strong network in the banking and FinTech ecosystem (partners, clients, regulators)
  • Fluent English is a must; knowledge of Russian is a plus but not required
  • Experience in investment rounds, board communications, and stakeholder management
  • Comfortable leading in high-risk sectors such as crypto, gaming, or adult verticals (preferred)
