A warm, busy and international family based in Chelsea is seeking an experienced, energetic and highly organised Rota Manny or Nanny to care for their three school-aged children - two boys aged 14 & 11, and a girl, 9 years (full nanny duties).
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional candidate who enjoys working with older children and thrives in a fully staffed household environment. The role operates on a one week on/off rota basis, increasing to two weeks on/off during family travel periods. Strong swimmer essential.
The children are bright, active and extremely sporty, with football being a particular passion, so the ideal candidate will be sporty, active, engaging and confident supporting busy school and extracurricular schedules. Although this is a sole-charge position, parents work from home and there is a full household team including another rota nanny caring for the youngest child, household staff and a PA.
Full nanny duties will include:
- Sole-charge care of the three children during rota periods.
- Managing school routines and schedules.
- Liaising with schools, handling school communications and administration.
- Organising extracurricular activities, sports fixtures and appointments.
- Supporting homework routines and encouraging independence.
- Nursery duties relating to the children, including:
- Children's laundry and ironing.
- Wardrobe management and seasonal organisation.
- Packing/unpacking for travel.
- Keeping children's bedrooms, play and study areas organised.
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Proxy parenting when required.
- Accompanying the family on occasional travel.
- Support children's independence, accountability, and self-management.
- Establish and maintain consistent, well-structured daily routines and complex diary management
- Provide guidance on etiquette, behaviour, and personal organisation.
- Act as a positive role model, setting clear expectations and boundaries.
- Liaise effectively with parents, schools, and the wider household team.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent previous nanny or manny experience with school-aged children.
- Be confident working in formal, fully staffed households.
- Be proactive, positive, discreet and highly organised.
- Have a genuine interest in sport and active lifestyles.
- Be calm, flexible and able to manage busy family schedules.
- Hold a clean driving licence and be a confident driver.
- Have excellent, checkable references.
- The children attend school full-time and travel daily via the school bus from Chelsea.
