Chefs - Care Home

We are currently looking for a Cook to join the Orchid Woodlands Healthcare Ltd team at Orchid Woodlands in Atherton, Manchester, M46 9HH. An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual with a positive outlook to come and join our dedicated team and be a key part of our mealtime experience.

We are looking to recruit a Care Home Cook on a Full time, permanent contract who can boast the following attributes:

• Have a great knowledge and passion for food with a relevant track record of creating and cooking a variety of homemade meals, desserts and baking.
• Be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills.
• Able to work on your own initiative and perform as part of a small team.
• Be responsible for the cleaning of the kitchen, surrounding areas and equipment to maintain our exacting standards.
• Comply with all Health & Safety, Hygiene, Fire Regulations and other policies and procedures.

Previous experience within a Care Home environment is preferred.

The role is day shift (8 AM to 6 PM) - 27 to 36 hours per week and additional hours may be available to cover holidays and sickness.
