Temporary Chef Manager - School Catering

Location: Various Sites- Berkshire

Pay: £18.00 per hour

Contract: Temporary / Ongoing

Hours: Monday to Friday (Term Time Preferred)

The Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Chef Managers to support a number of school kitchens across various sites. This is a flexible, temporary role ideal for chefs who enjoy variety and can confidently step into different environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day kitchen operations
• Prepare and serve fresh, nutritious meals for pupils and staff
• Supervise and support kitchen teams on-site
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, allergen and health & safety standards
• Manage stock, ordering and kitchen organisation
• Maintain accurate records (HACCP, temperature checks etc.)
• Adapt quickly to different school environments

What We're Looking For

• Previous Chef Manager / Head Chef / Catering Manager experience
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to work across multiple sites
• Good knowledge of food safety and allergens
• Flexible and reliable attitude
• Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum (Level 3 preferred)
