Salary: Up to £37,232 depending on experience + £3,000 annual bonus .
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week on a rota basis.

Job SummaryYou'll help us make health happen by using your passion for cooking and experience in a fresh food kitchen to create a varied and nutritional menu in line with the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, train and mentor the kitchen team, innovate your approach to cooking, maintain high standards, manage all mandatory paperwork, and cater for special events and seasonal activities.

- Use your natural leadership skills to train and mentor the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience.
- Be innovative in your approach to cooking and maintain high standards.
- Manage all mandatory paperwork, including adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, budgets, and managing orders and deliveries.
- Cater for special events or seasonal activities, such as summer fetes, Christmas parties, and birthdays (as required).
- A passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates.
- Experience creating and delivering an excellent dining experience at each meal, making residents feel at home.
- Natural leadership, open to new ideas, an innovative approach to cooking, and always maintaining high standards.
- Enjoyment of mentoring and supporting others and cherishing the little moments with residents, sharing your love of food with them.

Your welcome bonus will be paid to you in the next available pay run once you have completed four weeks' service and will be subject to deductions for tax and NI.
You'll also be eligible to receive a quarterly bonus based on performance. Chef Managers who achieve 6 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will receive a quarterly incentive of £500 (subject to usual tax and NI deductions).
