Working as part of a dedicated catering team, you'll support the preparation, cooking and service of food while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and customer care.

This is a hands on role where you'll help ensure meals are prepared to specification, special dietary requirements are met, and kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. • Assist with stock control, stock rotation, ordering, deliveries and inventory checks to minimise waste and maintain availability.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen, storage and service areas.
  • Support meal service operations and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure services are delivered on time.
  • Help train and support team members, while contributing to a positive, inclusive and customer focused environment.

What you bring:

  • Strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills with attention to quality and consistency.
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent), with relevant catering qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • A proactive, flexible and team oriented approach, with the ability to support colleagues and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Awareness of stock management, waste reduction and cost control principles.
