Chef Opportunities London Heathrow Airport (TW6 1EW)

We're hiring experienced Chefs to join a busy, high volume kitchen at London Heathrow Airport. You'll be preparing meals to quality standards, as part of an airport catering team. This is a chance to grow your culinary experience in a unique environment, build resilience and confidence as a chef, and be part of something bigger, where your work supports millions of travellers every year.

What We Offer
  • £13.00 per hour basic rate arising to £14.60 per hour after 12 weeks
  • Free meal provided during shifts
  • Rotating shift patterns (2 earlies, 2 lates and 2 off):
    • 05:00 - 14:30
    • 13:00 - 22:30
Role Responsibilities
  • Preparing food ranging from light snacks and refreshments to English breakfasts and continental meals.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
  • Maintaining high food quality, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Ensuring meals are prepared efficiently, on time, and to company standards.
  • Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment to set meal and portion plans.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Catering Chef within environments such as contract catering, care homes, schools, hotels, banqueting, pubs, restaurants, or similar fast paced catering operations.
  • Experience cooking in a medium to high volume kitchen.
  • Availability to work both fixed shift patterns listed above.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
  • Willingness to apply for a Criminal Record Check (cost refunded after 4 weeks).
  • Ability to supply a 5 year background check as part of the recruitment process.
