About the RoleBerkeley Scott, one of the UK's leading hospitality recruitment agencies, is seeking skilled and dependable Chefs to support a range of clients across the Education and Healthcare sectors in Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality meals in line with client requirements
- Supporting menu planning, including dietary and allergen considerations
- Maintaining exceptional food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Supervising and supporting kitchen assistants where required
- Managing stock, portion control, and minimising waste
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety and health & safety regulations
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Monday to Friday (weekends typically off)
- Shifts available between:
- Start times: 6:30am - 9:00am
- Finish times: 2:00pm - 6:30pm
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) - essential
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Chef (Chef de Partie level or above preferred)
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (Level 3 desirable)
- Experience in schools, care homes, or contract catering is advantageous
- Strong reliability, organisation, and timekeeping skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive hourly pay from £16.00+
