Job descriptionDuties & Responsibilities : Leading team of 6 traders in the AM Shipping. Must be able to fix vessels for cargo and cargo for vessels.
He or she is required to handle volume of 75 mil mt cargo trade. Should be able secure market cargo and operate ships on spot as well as on medium to long term.
He / she is required to prepare quarterly and annual freight budget.
He / she demonstrate good strategical thinking for efficient freight management.
Should be able to negotiate contract terms for both voyage and time charter parties.
Should demonstrate sound knowledge of the all routes in the world for dry cargo shipping.
EducationDegree preferably related to Maritime Industry
Skills & Specifications :- Good at Mathematics, negotiation skill , sound knowledge of basic maritime contracts like charter parties.
- Good commercial sense.
- Good broking skill.
- Team player, good leadership quality. Good HR skill.
- Good connection with ship owners, cargo owners and brokers.
- Should have entrepreneurs skill not only managerial skill.
At least 10 years' experience with dry cargo shipping as senior level. Must have extensive exposure to dry cargo market for "superamax" to capsize. Good at voyage estimate. Familiar with latest rules of decarbonization. Good at taking view on the world economy .
LanguagesSound knowledge of English. Should be able to communicate in English .
