Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is seeking talented Civil Engineers to join our newly formed Water Services team. You will work on a diverse range of water and wastewater projects for major utility clients.
Opportunities are available for candidates who are recently Chartered or Incorporated, as well as experienced professionals eager for challenging roles involving supervision of multi-disciplinary teams on large projects. We support your career development and skill enhancement.
You will be involved in projects for clients such as Anglian, Southern, Severn Trent, and Thames, including strategic studies, feasibility exercises, and design work for water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure improvements.

About the Role
You will organize and undertake civil engineering activities within multidisciplinary teams, potentially mentoring junior engineers. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting strategic studies, feasibility, and design work for water utilities projects.
- Producing calculations and reports.
- Engaging with clients to develop solutions.
- Developing business cases and proposals.
- Collaborating with construction partners to enhance safety and understand construction processes.
- Ensuring designs consider buildability, sustainability, H&S, and environmental standards.
About You
- Approaching or at Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with ICE or relevant institution.
- Experience in the water sector is not essential; transferable skills are valued.
- Desire to mentor junior engineers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated team player.
- Passion for sustainable water and environmental solutions.
