About You
As a Charge Nurse at HC-One, you will oversee the care of residents in your area of the care home. You'll also run the entire home when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent. Your responsibilities include following up on resident visits related to health, administering prescribed medicines, and maintaining records to meet legal requirements, always prioritizing resident wellbeing. You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin and committed to your profession through the standards of practice set by the NMC. You will have a passion for mentoring and sharing your knowledge with colleagues, supporting as a practice supervisor and assessor to students. You understand the importance of effective communication and role model professional behaviors. You will advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care for residents and their families. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures to follow if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately. Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available for applicants with at least 2 years of UK residence and experience.
