Chief Executive - Govanhill Housing Association - Glasgow/Hybrid - £100,140 - £103,489
OrganisationGovanhill Housing Association owns and manages around 2,800 homes in Govanhill and Merrylee, in addition to providing factoring services to over 1,500 owner-occupiers. Through our wholly owned subsidiary, Govanhill Community Development Trust, we manage a portfolio of commercial properties and support community development initiatives, while also working with partners to deliver supported accommodation projects. With more than 90 staff, an experienced Management Team and a dedicated Management Committee - many of whom are tenants - our organisation is rooted in the communities we serve.
Responsibilities- The Chief Executive will provide strategic leadership, ensuring strong governance, financial sustainability and the delivery of high-quality services for tenants and other customers. This role involves working closely with our Management Committee and subsidiary Board to shape and deliver our business plans, promote innovation, and build strong partnerships across the public, voluntary and private sectors.
- Substantial senior leadership experience in a regulated environment, ideally within housing; those from the wider not-for-profit sector who evidence transferability will be equally considered.
- A skilled communicator who can inspire staff, influence stakeholders and represent the organisation effectively at local and national levels.
- A proven record of strategic planning, financial management and performance improvement.
- A deep commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
