CBT Therapist (CYP and Adult)
Remote - UK based only

Permanent

Full time or Part time roles (Minimum of 2 days a week)

This role will be primarily for our young persons pathway, but will also include adult clients too.

Operational Hours:

Adult Service 8am-8pm

YP service: evening and weekends are required for this service. In high demand after school appointments 3-8pm, and weekends.

We offer flexible scheduling options, including just evening shifts or shorter days. For example, 4pm-8pm.

As a CBT Therapist with Bupa Health Services, you'll be able to use your training and education to support our customers by providing education on how to Live Longer, Healthier, Happier Lives . Our customers are your priority and you'll spend the majority of your time with them doing what you do best and what you trained for.

You'll help us make health happen by:

TheCognitiveBehaviouralPsychotherapistwillprovideahighquality,safeandeffectiveCognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT) to Bupa customers aged from 11 years old.

The role will involve the following:

Toprovidehigh-qualityCBTorlow-levelbrief interventionstochildrenandadolescents,which demonstrates excellent clinical outcomes.

To deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence-based intervention. To ensure a thorough assessment determines the most appropriate pathway of care and support for the client and their family.

To provide different models of service delivery including telephone or video consultation, depending on client preference.

To be able to communicate effectively to share information with key agencies and systems around the child - for example, school/college, local authority, parents and carers, etc.

To adhere to sessional limits depending on the client's monetary allowance as determined by their Private Medical Insurance, whilst working towards therapeutic recovery goals.

To adhere to local and national policies and guidance on safeguarding children and adults, and be particularly sensitive to some of the unique safeguarding concerns regarding children and consent

Toprovideriskassessmentandmanagementplanning,withsupportfromtheseniorclinical leadership team, as and when required.

To provide signposting or onwards referral as and when required.

To provide ad-hoc or one-off wellbeing support and coaching as and when required.

To provide one-off assessments and referral recommendations, when required.

To work at a client level to provide group psychoeducation, raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing,promotionofmentalwellbeing guidancevia remotepresentation, workshopevents and training as and when required.

Toworkautonomouslywithin professional guidelinesandtheoverall framework of Bupa's service policies and procedures.

To attend regular clinical supervision, both individually and group based, to support clinical practice, in line with BUPA and professional body guidelines.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

Full BABCP accreditation

Experience in a similar role providing high intensity CBT interventions to children & Young persons and managing own caseload.

2 years + experience in Children and Young People (CYP Mental Health) / CAMHS services

IT Skills including proficiency using Microsoft Systems as well as electronic medical record systems.

Safeguarding and robust risk assessment experience with children and young people is essential

Ability to present to groups and deliver training workshops also preferred
