About The RoleDays of Working: Monday - Friday 4pm - 8pm
We are looking for a passionate General Catering Assistant to join our team at one of our esteemed NHS healthcare providers. In this role you will ensure the efficient and timely preparation, delivery, and quality service of all food and beverages to patients, clients, and guests.

Key Responsibilities- Ensure that patients and clients receive a prompt and courteous service at all times.
- Maintain contract health and safety, hygiene standards and appropriate documentation following current legislation and company standards.
- Preparation of sandwiches, salads and beverages as required.
- Receive, check, sort and store supplier products as directed.
- Prepare food service area to the standard laid out by the management.
- Wash up, general tidying, removal of waste and used crockery/cutlery, keeping the work area and kitchen to the highest cleanliness standards.
- Must have Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
- Catering experience required, food safety level 2, allergy management knowledge.
- Food Hygiene Certificate and Health & Safety Training qualification (desirable; training can be provided).
- Practical food handling experience, preferably from within a healthcare background.
- Willing and able to work shifts (including nights, weekdays, weekends, Bank Holidays) on any of the Trust sites.
- Understanding of HACCP & COSHH.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
