About the Role

Hours per week: 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4 pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that patients and clients receive a prompt and courteous service at all times.
  • Maintain contract health and safety, hygiene standards and appropriate documentation following current legislation and company standards.
  • Prepare sandwiches, salads and beverages as required.
  • Receive, check, sort and store supplier products as directed.
  • Prepare food service area to the standard laid out by management.
  • Wash up, tidy, remove waste and used crockery/cutlery; keep the work area and kitchen to the highest cleanliness standards.
Ideal Candidate
  • Must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate and Health & Safety Training qualification - desirable as training can be provided.
  • Practical food handling experience, preferably from within a healthcare background.
  • Willing and able to work shifts (including nights, weekdays, weekends, Bank Holidays) at any of the Trust sites.
  • Understanding of HACCP & COSHH.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
