Temporary Catering Assistant - Primary School

Location: Salford Job Type: Temporary Hours: 9 am - 2:30 pm

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Salford for a Temporary Catering Assistant to join their school kitchen team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous school kitchen or catering experience who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and is passionate about helping provide nutritious meals for children.

The Role

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals.
• Supporting the kitchen team with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
• Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Working alongside an experienced Catering Assistant as part of a friendly and supportive team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous experience working in a school kitchen or similar catering environment.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• The ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• A reliable, flexible, and positive attitude.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
