The roleAs a Catering Assistant, you will be a vital part of the team, supporting our kitchen in basic food preparation and delivering excellent service that makes the lunchtime rush run smoothly.
Responsibilities- Working on the tills during service (full training provided)
- Providing friendly, polite customer service to all students and staff
- Assisting the team with basic food preparation
- Ensuring a safe, clean kitchen environment and meeting Health and Safety compliance
- Team player who thrives in a busy team environment
- Previous catering or fast-paced service experience
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
- Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification is a plus but not essential - training can be provided
- Monday to Friday during school term time - no late nights, weekends, or Christmas work
- 10 hours per week, 38 weeks per year - plenty of time off
