Catering Assistant

School Catering Assistant - Term Time Only

Location: ST4 & ST5 area

Days: Monday to Friday (term time only)

Hours: 10am - 2pm, 10:30am - 2:30pm, or 11am - 3pm (dependent on school)

Pay: £12.71 per hour

What you'll be doing:

• Helping prepare and serve food and drinks
• Operating the tills during lunch service
• Clearing and cleaning tables
• Unpacking and storing deliveries
• Washing dishes and keeping kitchen areas tidy
• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures
• Providing friendly and efficient service to students and staff

What we're looking for:

• Food Hygiene Level 1 qualification (dated within the last 12 months)
• Happy to support with cleaning and general kitchen tasks
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Clear communicator who can report issues appropriately
• Reliable, hard working and motivated
• Experience in a similar setting is helpful but not essential
• Enhanced Child DBS. If you don't have one, we can help you apply.
