This permanent Catering Assistant position in Bristol involves supporting kitchen operations across various sites. The role includes food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining rigorous hygiene standards by cleaning kitchen and dining spaces. Working 20 or 35 hours weekly, shifts are daytime and term time friendly. Pay ranges from £12.71 to £13.45 per hour based on experience, with holiday pay accrued and weekly wages.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with food preparation
- Serving meals to students and staff
- Maintaining high levels of kitchen hygiene
- Cleaning and clearing kitchen and dining areas
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Previous catering or hospitality experience
- Experience in contract catering (desirable)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Professional, reliable, and organised approach
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Passport / Birth Certificate / National ID
- Proof of address
- National Insurance number
- Bank details
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 preferred but not essential)
