Defendant Insurance Lawyer - Senior Associate or Legal Director (10+ PQE)

We're currently working with a highly regarded national law firm to recruit a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join their established defendant insurance litigation team.

The Role

This role sits within the broader Litigation, Advisory & Regulatory division and focuses on the defence of high-value personal injury and property damage claims. The work is both challenging and rewarding, with a strong emphasis on claims arising in the public and insurance sectors.

You will be responsible for:

- Managing a caseload of complex, multi-track defendant personal injury and property damage claims.
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Working alongside key partners across multiple offices on strategic client relationships.
- Contributing to business development and client engagement initiatives.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 10 years' PQE, ideally gained in defendant personal injury and/or property damage work.
-A proven track record of managing high-value and complex claims with minimal supervision.
- Experience supervising junior lawyers or supporting a wider team structure.
- Strong commercial acumen and a client-centric approach.
- Experience working with public sector bodies, insurers or local authorities (desirable but not essential).
