Casual Housekeeping Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Assistant at Bailbrook House Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

Bailbrook House Hotel is a prestigious luxury country house hotel, steeped in history and located within the beautiful city of Bath. Bailbrook House Hotel has 88 bedrooms spread across the Mansion house and court and has been awarded 4 Silver stars by the AA. It is a popular venue for relaxing weekends away or for weddings and events.

About the Role

• The role of a Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for ensuring our guest bedrooms are clean and maintained to a very high standard, creating a magical first impression.
• You will play a key role in creating a home from home experience, making sure each room is replenished with a fresh supply of towels and toiletries.
• Attention to detail is key - you will have an eye for perfection in making sure the public areas as well as the rooms are immaculate.
• You will be involved in setting up tea, coffee and biscuit stations in the rooms and delivering personalised amenities, including for four legged guests.
• You will be an expert in your field and a team player, able to self check rooms and support colleagues where needed.

About you

• You have housekeeping or cleaning experience and feel comfortable working both alone and as part of a team in a fast paced, busy environment.
• You take pride in delivering consistently high standards.
• You have a friendly, welcoming and helpful manner to keep guests happy.
• You are enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities, adopting a flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
• You can demonstrate how you would deliver our guest experience standards at Hand Picked Hotels, going above and beyond to ensure guests have a high quality, personalised, magical experience that they remember, recommend and return to time and time again.
