Approximately 200 hours over 12 months, with most work in Phase 1 (Sept-Dec 2026) and Phase 3 (Mar-Jul 2027).
Interviews will take place week commencing 6 July, ideally in person.
Criteria
Required:
Experience of working with children/young people
Minimum of MA level qualification
Knowledge of digital literacies
Experience of research in educational setting
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check (funded by the project upon signing of the contract). The post requires travel across the North East (expenses can be claimed in line with our policy), and there will be frequent onsite working.

Research Assistant/Associate
Casual Grade 6
Under instruction and following appropriate training:
Undertake research as appropriate to the field of study including conducting literature reviews, collecting and analysing data
Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
Provide ready access to all experimental data for the faculty researcher and/or supervisor
Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations
Manage and respond to project related email.
Attend project meetings, seminars and other meetings as necessary
