This role is based in Lancashire and there is a requirement for travel throughout the area.
As a Caseworker you will be:- Managing a caseload of Victims of Crime with the highest level of need, both directly, through in-depth, 1:1 support, and indirectly, by working other service providers. Undertaking face to face support, case-tracking and management
- Promoting the work of Victim Support by attending local community and public events
- A proven track record of successfully delivering a service and working directly with clients or service users in a statutory, voluntary or Multi-Agency Setting(s)
- Experience of Managing a caseload including complex case management.
- An understanding of the requirement for confidentiality and safe working practice and maintenance of files in accordance with the data Protection Act and other legal requirements
- Knowledge of an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity
- Experience of managing safeguarding issues and relevant legislation
