Job Description
Overview

Case Administrators provide vital support to probation teams, helping keep the public safe and supporting people who are on probation. The role involves administrative support, case file management, communication with colleagues, agencies and probationers, and working across a range of settings including courts, prisons and community programmes.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all processes run efficiently and systems are maintained.
  • Collect and prepare probation information for case files.
  • Handle enquiries from colleagues, agencies and people on probation in a busy environment.
  • Support probation staff in delivering services to clients on probation.
Compensation and Pay Progression

Starting salary will be £24,645 per annum, with an annual pay progression framework (Competency Based Framework - CBF). Pay is based on competence and paid band ranges are reviewed annually in line with Civil Service pay guidance.

Working Arrangements

Hybrid working is offered where business need allows. The role must be carried out in the UK; it is not suitable for overseas working. Working arrangements will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
