This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with maintenance, facilities, or site management experience who takes pride in ensuring a safe, secure, and well maintained environment for staff and students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day to day operation of the school site, helping to maintain high standards across the premises.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school premises each day.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are clean, safe, and well presented.
• Conducting health and safety checks and reporting any concerns.
• Assisting with the setup of classrooms, halls, and school events.
• Liaising with contractors and external visitors when required.
• Supporting the school in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a caretaker, site supervisor, maintenance, facilities, or similar role.
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills.
• A good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive and dependable approach to work.
