Required as soon as possible - 25 hours per week, temporary until 31 December 2026.
Salary: Grade 5 £17,286 - £17,840 (Full time equivalent £25,584 - £26,403).

Job SummaryWheatley Park School seeks a dedicated and proactive Caretaker to become part of our school family. The role goes beyond physical maintenance; you will create a safe, inspiring, and well cared-for environment that allows our students to thrive, setting up for school concerts and assemblies and ensuring classrooms are ready for new learners.
Responsibilities- Maintain buildings and grounds.
- Set up facilities for school concerts and assemblies.
- Ensure classrooms and learning spaces are ready for daily use.
- Support the smooth running of the premises during a six month review of departmental structure.
- Practical, hands on approach to maintenance tasks.
- Friendly, reliable presence in a school environment.
- Take pride in work and commitment to classroom safety.
- Strong, developing school community with emphasis on staff wellbeing and professional development.
