Job Description

Female Domiciliary Care Worker, hourly rate £13.45 per hour plus £0.35 per mile mileage, zero hour contract covering the Lawrence Weston and Shirehampton area.

About the Role

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide personal care and support to service users, helping them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
  • Prepare meals and support dietary needs.
  • Prompt and assist with medication administration.
  • Perform light household tasks: cleaning, tidying, and garden maintenance as required.
  • Aid with budgeting and shopping errands.
  • Organise and accompany day trips to the beach and other outings.
  • Offer companionship, build confidence and support independence.
Key Criteria
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a car (essential).
  • Willingness to work alternative weekends.
  • Empathy, compassion, and caring nature.
  • Ability to treat service users with dignity and respect.

  • No previous experience required; full training will be provided.
