Care Group Management Secretary

We are looking for an efficient and proactive Management Secretary to provide crucial administrative support to the Digestive Diseases Care Group management team at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital. This role ensures smooth operation of our services and contributes to outstanding patient care.

Key responsibilities:
- Diary management for senior staff, coordinating appointments and priorities.
- Organise and service meetings, schedule, reserve venues, prepare agendas.
- Take accurate minutes and ensure follow up on action items.
- Manage incoming/outgoing post and maintain the shared inbox.
- Handle consultant study leave management and requisition processing.
- Maintain Employee Service Records and request patient notes as required.
Required qualifications:
- Typing qualification RSA II or equivalent experience.
- NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Minimum four GCSE 9 4 (A C) passes, English & Maths.
- Relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience.
- RSA III, Audio Typing, or Shorthand.
Knowledge, training and experience:
- Secretarial experience supporting a busy senior management team and electronic diary systems.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Minute taking skills.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and a complex workload.
- Experience running effective office systems and bespoke IT systems.
Communication and interpersonal skills:
- Customer facing experience with positive service skills.
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication.
- Work independently with initiative; problem solving ability.
- Experience with systems and processes preferably in healthcare.
Other requirements:
- Work at both hospital sites as required; flexible hours.
- Willing to undertake training and mandatory courses.

Employers: Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Salary: £25,760 to £27,476 per annum, pro rota.
